The experience of eating steamboat at mookata can be considered to be a new and fresh experience and I could describe it as unique in Singapore. Charcoal is used to heat the steamboat and is what i find nice as food cooked from the heat of charcoal taste differently compared to those cooked on gas stove and is what i feel to be more like a traditional way to eat steamboat. Other than the just normal steamboat the design of the pot is such that the area for bbq is elevated on top. Soup is nice as well
Chilli is super nice.. you can get a bottle home at SG$8.00.
